It's all about the numbers
It's all about the numbers
To have a strong market, it's important to look at questions such as:
How many customers can we expect?
How much will each customer spend?
How much do vendors need to earn to survive and thrive?
And, how many vendors can be supported by a given number of customers, spending a given amount of money?
Our markets are designed with all of this in mind - bringing in as much money as possible, and not spreading it among more vendors than the market can support. In one of the scenarios below, you can see that the combination of more customers and a few less vendors leads to a difference of over $5000 in average sales per vendor over the course of the season. Not too shabby.
