Markets, made for you
Thanks for your interest in BAMM markets! Our markets are designed to bring all the services of big-city markets to our more rural communities. Here are a few things that make BAMM markets great:
Location and timing to appeal to the most customers. (See Traffic).
Promotion in print, on the web, on social media, through signage, and more!
Live music through a partnership with the NH Music Collective.
Veterans Bucks program run in partnership with the Belknap County Conservation District will bring up to $10,000 to each market in the month of September!
B-Well employee wellness program to get more area employees eating local (and more sales for you)!
SNAP/EBT with Market Match to double customer benefits.
Markets sized to maximize your sales - see Analysis.
Multiple payment methods supported including SNAP/EBT, gift cards, and by selling market tokens so you don't need a credit card reader or have to pay fees!
Our websites will always be up to date with your information and the dates of markets you'll be attending.
NOTE! The Meredith Community Market may be moving to the vacant lot across from Bootleggers Footwear in downtown Meredith. Stay tuned for updates!
Market Dates
Find the dates and times of each market location in the image below. Holiday weekends are highlighted, and the dates of the mid-season celebrations are in bold.
Pricing
For 2025, we'll be changing to a "daily price" model and requiring a minimum of 5 market dates per location. The more dates you attend, the less you pay per date. As you can see in the image below, your days 1-4 cost $40 each, your days 5-8 cost $20 each, and so on.
For example, a Market at Weirs vendor who attends 10 total market dates throughout the season will pay $40 per day for their days 1-4, $20 per day for days 5-8, and $15 per day for days 9 and 10, with a total of $270 for the season, and will pay an average of $27 per market date. Adding an 11th day mid-season would cost $15 extra. Generally, the season total and average price per market are the amounts you'll be most interested in.
Additional Information
Avoiding Scams
We accept payments via cash or check paid in person, or checks sent to 9 Berry Rd. in Belmont, NH. Our online invoices accept ACH bank transfer using Wave. We will only send and receive emails from @bamm-nh.org accounts. Please contact us directly with any questions and report any suspicious activity immediately.
Insurance
Vendors must maintain a commercial general liability policy that does not exclude products - completed operations coverage. Policy limit should be a minimum of 1 million per occurrence with a 2 million aggregate limit. Each vendor policy needs to list the market as an additional insured or contain a blanket additional insured endorsement and provide the market with a certificate of insurance confirming coverage. See Insurance.
Payments
All pricing is per market location. No discounts are available for attending multiple locations.
The minimum fee of $180 per market location is due at the time of application. If you are not accepted to the market(s), this will be returned to you in full. Once accepted, this payment will be non-refundable and will be credited towards your seasonal balance.
When accepted, at least the first half of your remaining balance must be paid to confirm your acceptance. This payment is non-refundable.
Any remaining balance is due before the market season begins. This payment is non-refundable.
If your total fees are greater than $500 you'll be eligible to be part of a structured payment plan with the total due by September 1. The minimum of $500 will still be due prior to the season starting.
Additional, pre-approved dates added during the season must be paid for at least 1 week prior to the added dates, and are not refundable.
Changes
Dates may be added or changed during the season at least 10 days in advance. All changes must be requested and confirmed by email. If a confirmation is not received, the request has not been approved.
A one-time transfer of remaining dates can be made to another market location at no additional cost.
A full-time vendor who misses a day can take a make-up day at a different location if approved.
A part-time vendor can take make-up days at the same market location if approved.
Selection
Vendors with dates distributed throughout the season will have a higher priority than those that only choose peak months.
Vendors attending less than full time but select opening or closing days, and/or mid-season celebration dates will have a higher priority for selection than those that don't.
Vendors with up-to-date websites and social media accounts will have a higher priority than those that don't.
Other criteria can and will be used when reviewing applications.
Perks
Full time vendors are not necessarily exclusive but will receive the most effort to manage competition and will have the highest priority in the selection process.
Full time vendors are able to select their booth location for the season.
Vendors with the most total dates across all locations will appear in the market guidebook.
Full and half-time vendors who have participated in an approved UNH Ag Biz or Food Safety course can select their booth location and will be emphasized on our webpages and in the brochure (if prepaid).
